MENTORING

Posted on August 18, 2023August 18, 2023 by helen

I am pleased to announce that I was successful in my application for a mentoring grant. This will enable me to pay the fees of a mentor. I am really excited to start the mentoring process. My last books were written without any outside help- no editing, no mentoring or book coaching. I have since trained in developmental editing and, with the mentor’s guidance, I hope to get a traditional publisher for the book I’m working on. It is based on a woman who is self-obsessed and her journey to self-acceptance.

There is a storm raging outside and I’m getting ready to work for the night. I find I work better at night-too many distractions during the day. However, last night I did succumb to a bad case of writer’s block.
